Classes

This section contains all twelve character classes available to players. Each class offers a unique playstyle, with different strengths, abilities, and approaches to combat and problem-solving.

Barbarian

A fierce warrior driven by primal rage. Barbarians excel in melee combat with their Rage ability, granting damage resistance and bonus damage. They have the highest hit points (d12 Hit Die) and can fight effectively without armor using their Unarmored Defense. Primary abilities: Strength. Key features: Rage, Brutal Strikes, Weapon Mastery.

Bard

A versatile performer and jack-of-all-trades. Bards use Charisma-based magic and Bardic Inspiration to support allies and solve problems creatively. They can learn spells from multiple classes and excel at social interactions and utility magic. Primary abilities: Charisma. Key features: Bardic Inspiration, Expertise, Magical Secrets.

Cleric

A divine spellcaster who channels the power of their deity. Clerics are masters of healing and support magic, with access to Channel Divinity abilities. They can wear medium armor and serve as both healers and formidable combatants. Primary abilities: Wisdom. Key features: Divine magic, Channel Divinity, healing spells.

Druid

A mystical guardian of nature with primal magic. Druids can transform into animals using Wild Shape, cast nature-based spells, and serve as versatile spellcasters with strong ties to the natural world. Primary abilities: Wisdom. Key features: Wild Shape, nature magic, animal companions.

Fighter

A master of martial combat and weapons. Fighters are the most versatile combat class, capable of using any weapon or armor effectively. They gain multiple attacks, Action Surge for burst damage, and numerous opportunities for ability score improvements. Primary abilities: Strength or Dexterity. Key features: Extra Attack, Action Surge, Fighting Styles.

Fighter

Monk

A martial artist who harnesses inner power. Monks fight unarmored using Dexterity and Wisdom, spending Focus Points to perform special techniques. They gain supernatural speed and can deflect attacks with lightning-fast reflexes. Primary abilities: Dexterity and Wisdom. Key features: Martial Arts, Focus Points, Unarmored Defense.

Monk

Paladin

A holy warrior bound by sacred oaths. Paladins combine martial prowess with divine magic, using Lay on Hands to heal and Divine Smite to deal radiant damage. They protect allies with powerful auras and embody justice and righteousness. Primary abilities: Strength and Charisma. Key features: Divine Smite, Lay on Hands, protective auras.

Ranger

A skilled tracker and wilderness expert. Rangers blend martial combat with nature magic, excelling at hunting specific enemies with Hunter's Mark. They're masters of survival, stealth, and protection of the natural world. Primary abilities: Dexterity and Wisdom. Key features: Hunter's Mark, nature magic, tracking abilities.

Ranger

Rogue

A cunning expert in stealth and precision. Rogues deal devastating Sneak Attack damage when striking from advantage, while excelling at skills through Expertise. They're masters of infiltration, investigation, and striking from the shadows. Primary abilities: Dexterity. Key features: Sneak Attack, Expertise, Cunning Action.

Rogue

Sorcerer

An innate spellcaster with raw magical power. Sorcerers use Charisma-based magic and can modify their spells with Metamagic options. They have flexible spellcasting through Sorcery Points but know fewer spells than other casters. Primary abilities: Charisma. Key features: Metamagic, Sorcery Points, innate magic.

Warlock

A spellcaster bound by an otherworldly pact. Warlocks gain unique powers through Eldritch Invocations and recover their limited spell slots on short rests. They're highly customizable through their patron choice and invocation selection. Primary abilities: Charisma. Key features: Eldritch Invocations, Pact Magic, otherworldly patron.

Warlock

Wizard

A scholarly master of arcane magic. Wizards learn spells through study and have access to the largest spell list in the game. They prepare spells from their spellbook and can cast rituals without preparation. Primary abilities: Intelligence. Key features: Spellbook, Ritual Adept, largest spell selection.
